  RC Was Worse Than I thought...

  i was visiting with my family and it seems the rc was worse than i thought.

  now they all seem to think that "we are so close to the end" and that the "brothers are really preparing us for the gt".

  some even saying that soon our message will change to a judgement message for mankind and talking about how we need to improve "everything we do".

  I can't decide between two responses to this:

  1. The anointed GB will probably disappear, poof, after the last of the Brooklyn real estate is sold and the money siphoned off to some secret bank accounts.
  2. Originally, the GB was supposed to float off into heaven, but have you seen how heavy these guys are getting? All the force of the holy spirit could barely lift them a flight of stairs. So the nulite is that they'll use a divine transporter so they can get beamed up in little pieces.

  bringing together all of the stories they told thus far and placing them int he "new world" complete with the little boy who was killed in a car accident coming back from the dead.. i have a good friend who is stuck in with family and plays the role.

  Ah the magic of movies! You have complete control over the eyes and thoughts of your audience. Even complete as$hole actors can pretend to be loving and caring friends of the viewer. History can be rewritten with glamorous story-lines, the future can be predicted as a utopia or distopia.

  He said everyone was crying, and the people next to him rated the videos by how many tissues they needed to dry their eyes. "That last one was a 5 tissue!", his neighbor stated.
  

  Titanic, Brokeback Mountain, Old Yeller, and thousands of other movies have caused billions of people to shed an ocean of tears. Watchtower does not have a monopoly of tugging at heartstrings.

  with the new rc conventions making their rounds, much has been leaked in regards to their loyalty videos.

  disturbing is the ramping up of hatred and shunning towards those who have faded, especially if such ones according to the watchtower are living in sin, but have not been found guilty as yet by the judicial process.

  certainly of the criteria of guilt, is talking against the gb, which i personally come under.

  If my parents are any gauge, most of us exJWs pay closer attention to what's in the magazines, broadcasts, and assemblies than they do. How many dubs read, pay attention, or even stay awake for these things? For the crapvention they'll hear the talks once, watch the videos once, might even take notes. A dose of the fear, obligation, and guilt may stick, but much of what was presented is completely forgotten by the time they get the breadsticks at Olive Garden on the way home afterward.

  If they want to review the highlights of the program and watch the crapvention videos again and again, they'll have to get on "apostate" websites until/if it get posted on JW.borg.

  I was helping a Mature Sister with her tablet for downloading the meeting and then noticed ...

  this sweet older sister needed help and while trying to download the clm on her tablet, the history showed some porn pictures.

  how does someone overlook that and carry on?.

  Remember the old warnings from WT about how "brothers" could be innocently browsing the internet or reading email and a popup window for a porn website would just mysteriously appear and "brothers" would instantly close down their computers (about 15 minutes later). It never happened to me, well, not until I actually went looking for porn.

  Maybe this has happened to her. She was searching for muffin or sausage recipes and these porn websites just mysteriously appeared.

  the issue of whether beards are acceptable or not is addressed in the september 2016 watchtower - well sort of.

  it is as clear as mud as to whether they are allowed in places like australia, usa and britain.. 17. what are some factors that may affect whether a brother wears a beard?17 what about the propriety of brothers wearing a beard?

  the mosaic law required men to wear a beard.

  It's kinda like being a JW, too. Something true yesterday is replaced by different truth tomorrow. I kept being told how "joyful" and "privileged" I was, yet on the inside I was depressed to the point of craving death.

  September 2016 Watchtower Clothing including Tight Pants

  tony morris iii finally got his way and there is now a current article dealing with appropriate clothing for today's christian.

  funny thing is that it actually an embarrassment to him and i'll explain why later.

  it mentions 'tight' three times in the article.. you saw a lot of casual clothing, especially when it was hot,” reported a dutch newspaper regarding a meeting of church leaders.

  Our choice of clothing should not make people conclude anything other than that we are worshippers of Jehovah.

  Sounds like Donald Trump and his family could pass for JWs! Modestly dressed in suits and skirts, neither tight nor baggy, they must worship the Bronze Aged desert god Jehovah! (Just replace Domewrap's flag pin with a JW.borg pin.)

  it's rare that i bump into someone from the old hall.

  but it happened yesterday with one of the nicest brothers i remember.. he came into my place of work not knowing i worked there.

  my company is now on his delivery route.

  i'm at the water park with my five year old in green bay.

  she was so happy to be spared another boring day like she endured at thursday's propaganda feast with her mother.

  after breakfast we drove by the convention site.
